Bubulander Talks Business, Motherhood & Late Nights

At Bubulander, we love spotlighting parents doing incredible things, and Martina Harts is doing a lot. Founder of FOMO Call, a Copenhagen-based luxury fashion sourcing company, and mother of three, Martina carved out a unique space in the global fashion world. Between sourcing ultra-rare pieces, writing a monthly Vogue Scandinavia column (The FOMO List), and raising a young family, she took time out of her very busy schedule to chat with us about business, with a pinch of motherhood.
From Maternity Leave to a Global Business
The seeds of FOMO Call were planted during a pivotal time in Martina’s life. While on maternity leave with her second child, she realized her previous career in pharmacy no longer fulfilled her. She began sourcing luxury fashion items for others, working for 200–400€ a month. The model was simple: no inventory, just fulfilling client requests for a flat fee. Over time, that model, clear, accessible, and personal, gained momentum.
“FOMO is the only registered sourcing company in Europe working on a flat fee,” Martina explains. “No matter the item, the person, or the work, the price doesn’t change.” With a global team of ten sourcers now working round the clock, FOMO Call delivers rare, high-demand fashion to clients worldwide.

More Than Just Fashion
But for Martina, it’s never just about the product. “It’s important to understand that we are human. We get attached to things,” she shares. “When a rare piece is found after a long search, the joy is indescribable. It’s that feeling of success that keeps me going.”
And right now? Her clients are blending quiet luxury with unique personality.
“I find it interesting that many are investing in that one piece, whether it’s a hat, earrings, bag, or shoes, that not only completes the look but makes it theirs. I think we’ll see even more of that in the years to come.”

The Reality of Balancing It All
Balancing motherhood and business is not for the faint of heart. For Martina, it comes down to passion, and an unconventional schedule. “The late nights are when my world revolves around FOMO Call. The days are for my family,” she says. “I stop when I pass out at 3 or 4 a.m.,” she laughs. “That’s when I know I’ve given everything I have.”
Her energy is fueled by purpose. “I wouldn’t be able to do it if I didn’t love what I do. That kind of stimulation and adrenaline is needed, for us women too. I’m a better mother when my personal needs are met.”
Motherhood has shaped her leadership style too. She’s learned to use her time wisely, become more tolerant and focused, and invest in her team. “One-on-ones and check-ins are key. Personal connection builds a strong business.”

Her Advice to Other Moms?
“Do it. If you can find a way to make a living from something you love, you’ll be a better person and a happier mom. It’s not easy, and it takes dedication, but it’s worth every single day of investment.”
